Jessica Begley

Bio: Jessica started her life crying in perfect pitch. Coming from a family of talented musicians, she spent four summers performing at King’s Island in Mason, OH. From 2004-2017, Jessica was a full-time member at Renfro Valley Entertainment Center where she was a lead vocalist and emcee. While there, she also received the Renfro Valley’s Best Female Vocalist Award. Whether recording numerous projects, hosting Music in the Park, headlining music jamborees across the state, or teaching young students to love music, Jessica has always let her talent do the talking.

Chad Birch
Drums, Vocals
Bio: Chad was born a drummer; he just didn't know it at first. As a kid, he was constantly banging and beating on every surface he could get his hands on. Around age 11, his parents decided they would try and focus his percussive tendencies towards something that might be productive, a drum set. Since then, he's never gone too long without a pair of sticks in his hands. From playing in High School to rock bands that played all over the region, Chad has kept the music fresh and fun with his eclectic approach to drumming.

Michael Hagnauer
Guitar, Vocals
Blues influenced guitarist playing music for over 30 years. Married to my lovely wife for over 23 and counting. Together we have 6 wonderful children. Loves long walks on the beach. Favorite food is sour kraut and sausage. Hobbies include crochet and taking long walks on the beach while eating sour kraut and sausage. My favorite color is clear.

MacKenzi Mallory
Piano, Vocals, Guitar, Percussion
Bio: Although her music journey began around age 4 with “Tiny Tots Music Lessons,” MacKenzi didn’t branch out into the live music scene until The Perfect Strangers began in 2021. She is equipped with a vocal range from Stevie Nicks to Steve Perry, can play the piano from Beethoven to The Black Crowes, and will even throw in a little guitar for us every now and again. She’s our true “Jane of all trades.”

Paul Mallory
Guitar, Vocals
Bio: Being the product of a music fanatic father, Paul was a 5-year-old walking around the house strumming guitars that were bigger than he was. Fast forward a few years, he was lead guitarist for Fair City Lights, a band who won the WKQQ Decent Exposure Battle of the Bands; and still has the trophy made of Budweiser bottles to prove it. All throughout his life, Paul has truly spanned the spectrum of genres - Travis picking one song, then busting out a Tom Morello solo the next. He is notable amongst peers for having an excellent guitar tone and explains it simply as “it’s all in the fingers.”

Billy Roberts
Bass
Bio: If bands were houses, Billy is the foundation you would want for your house. He's been entertaining audiences and keeping the rhythm locked in since he was a teenager. Playing everything from metal to hard rock, from country to the classics, Billy's seen or heard it all. A Powell County native, Billy has been all over the regional music scene as a constant presence for numerous bands. Billy's exceptionally steady rhythm and great bass work are worth the price of admission alone.
